2008 News
As I write, I am meditating on how wonderful my dear Lord
has been to me. With the exception of a slight paralysis in my leg, my
recovery from the West Nile Virus has been given. The prayers of many of you
were answered. I move around slow
on my cane but I remember a time when I could not take a step!
With this recovery I am also able to serve once again in
the ministry God put on my heart in 1990. I praise Him for the churches that
have allowed me to serve with them over the past eighteen years. That number
is now over 350.
I look forward to each and every opportunity to hold a
Sunday School revival but have also enjoyed the new open door of spending
extended consultations with churches. It is so rewarding to be a part of
“hands on work” in the local church. The Calvary Baptist Church of
Batesville, Mississippi gave me such an opportunity in 2007. With God’s
direction, it was a rewarding and fruitful time last summer. I owe such a debt
to their dear pastor, Bro. Paul Middleton, for the privilege of serving with
them.
Let me share about the Lord’s blessings in my family.
Barbara and I have been so thankful for our granddaughter Chloe. She was born
on March 11, 2006. She is such a source of joy to us. Now her parents, Matt
and Missy, have given us a second blessing with the birth of our grandson on
September 24, 2007. He is named after his great, great grandfather, great
grandfather, grandfather (me) and his father. That’s right! Noel Matthew
Wright V! My children call him Quinn. The four of them serve Jesus through
their church home of Faith Baptist in Bartlett, Tennessee. My special baby
girl, Kacie, and her husband Josh are serving as missionaries for the Southern
Baptist International Mission Board. They serve in an Asian country. Kacie is
expecting to deliver us another grand child in the fall. We are thrilled!
Needless to say, Barbara and I are proud of our children and their desire to
serve Him.
I would be grateful for you assistance in two ways.
First, would you share with churches and pastors about my ministry? Second,
would you keep my name, ministry and family before the Lord?
I do hope we can see each other soon. Until then, I pray
God’s special anointing. It would be so encouraging to hear from you.
Because of Jesus,
Noel Wright
