Advice from Noel Wright

Some Christian educators differ over which age group could be counted as the most important in the Sunday School. Many will immediately say children. They tug at our heart strings. They are cute, cuddly, loveable and everyone agrees that we must take care of them. However, what would you say if I said that adults may be more important than children? Are you surprised? You shouldn't be. Of all the things that we can give our children, what could be a better gift than Christian parents who  love God and are solid in the Faith. What better kind of church could you put a child in than a church whose members discipled Christian adults? Here is your greatest challenge! The adults are the ones who must be the first line of help for the children and youth in our homes and families.

Adults are also the most challenging age range to deal with because you are dealing with every facet of life imaginable. From the college age student who is dealing with their first taste of adulthood and the responsibilities that go with it, to preparing for and dealing with the death of a spouse and the loneliness in old age the, the range of experiences an Adult Teacher will deal with is nothing short of an entire lifetime. As this section of WTVU grows we will add information and resources to help you in your ministry to these varied groups of adults.
